Gabriel Poulin-Lamarre

Gabriel Poulin-Lamarre completed his B.Sc. in physics at Sherbrooke University in 2012. Following his B.Sc., he got his M.Sc. in physics with a group consisting of a partnership between the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and Sherbrooke University. His work during his master degree involved low temperature transport measurements in triple quantum dots circuit, observation of quantum interference and integration of nanotechnologies on quantum devices.
He joined D-Wave Systems in 2014 as an experimental physicist. As a member of the processor development team at D-Wave Systems, Gabriel’s work consists of characterizing the current generation of quantum processor as well as working on developing the next generation. He does so by investigating quantum behaviour in the 2000-qubit processor, doing low temperature device and material characterization, and software development.
